While it seems that bands comprising of two people, especially one on guitar and vocals and the other on drums, appear to instantly implant thoughts of The White Stripes, I assure you other bands exist with the same setup.  Today Julian brought over his newly purchased red drum kit. It’s partying in my garage at the moment. There are two of us and we don’t plan on like sounding like The White Stripes. Frighteningly enough, there was an odd impulse towards rockabilly and (poorly executed) funk when we jammed. We will restrain ourselves. Hopefully, very soon The Lion in Love will have some songs with actual percussion–how novel!
