The Dentists are Out of Control

You may recall my writing about The Dentists’ reunion not long ago. They’re also releasing a CD of rarities and previously unreleased songs, which is aces. As a teaser regarding the contents of the CD they’ve posted a video for a 1992 recording called “Creature Out of Control”. It’s definitely a good song, and bares some strange resemblance to a lot of Canadian music from the early and mid-90s. I found myself thinking of early Treble Charger when Bill Priddle used to sing. Perhaps more accurate a comparison (because who knows if Treble Charger ever listened to The Dentists) would be my thinking of Shed Seven, but not as “epic” sounding. Anyway, awesome song and the CD will be available for now at the reunion gigs, though it’s reputedly going to later be sold to the masses.
